Book Review

This book was fantastic. It was set in the historical time of 1889 London. A small twist on the Frankenstein story in a way.

The MC is a young woman who has the ability to raise the dead. Though she is not even sure how she is able to do so. She is kidnapped and forced to work under Lincoln “Death” Fitzroy. The man is a cold-blooded killer who works for a secret organization that protects the country from supernaturals.

It takes you on an adventure of a young woman who learns about her own gifts and her history while under the attention of an organization that would rather see her dead than on the loose where others may use her for twisted gains. But is she really safe with Fitzroy?
